Make the most of your hair this summer (yes, we're tentatively suggesting that summer might finally be on its way) by adding a little extra oomph. Hairdressers are using extensions in innovative new ways to give hair miraculously undetectable structure (in make-up terms, consider these treatments to be the primer that you'd apply first to maximise the benefits of whatever you use next).
Michaeljohn have created their Foundation Blow Dry (£200, 25 Albemarle Street W1), where 25 extensions are attached to the lower layers of hair to give a volume boost that will provide hair with the base it needs to hold tousled summer waves.
For show-stopping style, Hari's Hair & Beauty have launched their Glamour Red-Carpet Hair Booking (£150, 305 Brompton Road SW3), using semi-permanent extensions (the glue lasts up to four days), for a full-bodied up-do that is photo shoot-worthy, or at least ideal for the up-coming summer wedding season.
Inanch's Holiday Hair extensions (from £200, 220 Great Portland Street W1), have been made with beach frolicking in mind and are strong enough to withstand oils, sea salt and chlorine and so will last a full three months.
