As Hogan's new collaborator, Karl Lagerfeld will unveil his debut capsule collection for the label during Paris Fashion Week with a film on 2nd October. However, he has also revealed he will not present his signature collection at Paris, cancelling his Lagerfeld show.
Instead, the designer is working on a new "masstigue" ready-to-wear collection in a bid to change the brand image into a more commercial line, perhaps as an extension of his 2004 H&M range. The collection will be ready for A/W 2011, and will be sold online as well as via his Paris and Milan showrooms. While a company spokesperson said negotiations were under way "for the distribution and production of the designer's new vision."
>>> At the same time, whispers circulating say that Tom Ford will host a low-key cocktail event during New York Fashion Week, where guests will be treated to a glimpse of his womenswear collection, which isn't due to debut until January.
